What We Do to Empower Uganda’s YouthYouth

At Tukei Hope Initiative, we provide practical, community-driven services designed to empower marginalized youth with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities they need to become self-reliant. Our programs focus on real challenges young people face and offer sustainable pathways to employment, entrepreneurship, and personal growth.

Skills Development & Vocational Training
We equip youth with practical, in-demand skills to prepare them for the modern workforce and create immediate employment opportunities.Vocational Training: Hands-on training in tourism and hospitality, using the open-source Ukarimu Academy curriculum.
Entrepreneurship & Business Development
We support young people with the tools and guidance necessary to start and grow their own small businesses. Services include business training, mentorship, financial literacy coaching, and support in accessing startup opportunities.
Youth Mentorship & Career Guidance
Through mentorship programs, role-model sessions, and career counseling, we guide young people toward goal setting, discipline, and long-term personal development. We connect them with leaders who inspire and motivate them to build a better future.
Civic Engagement & Leadership Training
We nurture responsible and active citizenship by engaging youth in community service, leadership workshops, and social awareness programs. Our aim is to empower young people to contribute positively to their communities.
